Experience
Rebecca has over 11 years legal experience having worked in several reputable city law firms.
Rebecca has been involved in complex property and commercial matters and is best known for her persistence in delivering great results for her clients in plain English omitting the legal jargon. Having completed a double degree in Commerce (accounting) and Law Rebecca is able to understand and advise on transactional tax consequences including but not limited to duties, goods and services tax, land tax and payroll tax.
Rebecca has an interest in wills and estates and hopes to become an accredited wills and estates specialist in the near future. She aims to draft bullet proof wills and is involved in many Family Provision Claims and equitable matters.
Rebecca’s particular legal experience is in the following areas:
- Property law including sale and purchase of property (residential, commercial and rural), off the plan, partitions, subdivisions, easements, option agreements, development contracts and property disputes;
- Commercial and corporate law including sale and purchase of business, retail and commercial leasing, shareholders and partnership agreements;
- Family Law and property including de facto relationships, property settlements and binding financial agreements;
- Wills, succession planning and Probate including will drafting, estate administration and family provision claims (contesting of wills).
